Going Nowhere in a Winding Way: Labyrinth Walk at Miantonomi Tower
Sunday May 3, 2pm-3:30pm
Start and end at the Map Kiosk on Hillside Ave Loop (https://maps.app.goo.gl/17zuxjRCxPfAMNyE7)
The group will meander up the hill together (Less than 1/4-mile, wide sloped path) and then spend time in the clearing at the top of the hill. For those seeking wide views of the island, climb the staircase to the top of the tower. For anyone afraid of heights or looking for a contemplative journey, connect with a centuries old practice of a labyrinth walk. Celebrate World labyrinth day with a meditative practice and join others across space and time with each turn in the path. Stay the entire time or take the well-marked path back to the parking area.
Please note the labyrinth is weather permitting, as dampness can harm the material.
