A Normal Neighborhood with Really Unique Features
Sunday May 4, 4pm-5pm
The neighborhood between Bellevue Ave and Cliff Walk is a mix of new and old houses and regular folks. Newport is fascinating in that every street has interesting structures and landscapes, including this one.
Walk Reflections
Larry has lived in the neighborhood a long time and used his vast knowledge and deep relationships to give us a real “insider’s” walk. We started at the fine art store that’s “better than a museum” and then went to LaForge inside the Tennis Hall of Fame to be treated to clam chowder! We headed back to the Easton’s Cemetery plot that is down a lane that looks private (but isn’t) and finished up chatting about all the ways the neighborhood keeps changing.
The biggest surprise: Definitely the clam chowder!
