Get Involved in Life After Life

In order to tell the story of the Newporters buried in the Common Burying Ground and God’s Little Acre we need all kinds of people to play many roles. We’re excited to include people of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels, whether as performers in the show, singers in the choir, or behind-the-scenes helpers.

Curious about who’s already involved? Meet the team.

AUDITIONS

If you’d like to play one of the ~40 characters in Life After Life, please join us at our upcoming auditions July 12 and 13 from 11am to 6pm. No need to prepare a monologue. Instead come ready to tell us a story from your family and have a conversation. We may ask you to read a monologue from the play, so feel free to read a few we have on offer and get familiar.

After you sign up for a spot we will be in touch with the location and more details.

JOIN THE CHORUS

Life After Life will have an adult chorus as well as a children’s chorus, both led by Elizabeth Woodhouse of Newport Sings. No singing experience necessary. Rehearsals will be less frequent than for the actors, but you still get to be in the show. No auditions.
